About The Divorce & Beyond Course

Divorce Hurts!

This is not news; you’re living the pain. But to those around you, it is news and something they may not understand. Some have empathy for you but can’t possibly commit enough time to help you heal. Where do you go for help? Is your only option to go through changes that no one should face alone?

We Can Help!

We conduct this course to help people meet the challenges of divorce and/or separation. It’s one of the many ways we show God’s love in practical ways, no strings attached. Based on feedback from previous participants, this material has been very helpful to hundreds of participants over the years. We sincerely hope it will be helpful to you as well.

As a ministry, it is our deep desire to extend to you knowledge, care, and empathy as you begin to face the new demands and opportunities in your life.

The Lord heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 143:3 (NIV)

Our Mission

We have experienced the pain of divorce and discovered the process of healing.

We are reaching out to others by:

  1. Creating a safe atmosphere of acceptance and support
  2. Offering healing and freedom from the past
  3. Helping people understand and discover themselves as they are
  4. Providing hope for their future through the love of Christ
  5. Remembering small things done with great love will change lives!

What to Expect

You will understand why divorce is so hard, what the journey of recovery looks like, what the critical steps to take are and what pitfalls to avoid. Each session begins with a video, followed by questions, growth opportunities, and assessments. If you faithfully commit to following the complete course, you can be sure that you will emerge with hope, clarity and steps toward healing.

If you are separated from your spouse, going through a divorce, or are divorced, we encourage you to attend these sessions.

We understand the feelings of rejection, anger, fear, isolation, betrayal, guilt, and helplessness that can result from divorce. You may feel like you are on an emotional roller coaster. One day you feel better, the next day you feel hopeless, or you feel like you are still attached to your ex.

Emotions have a way of fooling us into believing that things will never change or get better. During this time, it is critical to gain a healthy perspective so you can take the necessary steps to move forward with your life.

Course Structure

  • This is an on-demand course. The material is available to you at any time.
  • Each session begins with a video presentation.
  • After watching the presentation there are a series of observations, growth opportunities, and reflections.
  • The pace is intended to be about a week/session, but adapt it to what promotes your recovery best. If you faithfully commit to following the complete course, you can be sure that you will emerge with hope, clarity and steps toward healing.
